Admissions

Admissions are taken in March at all campuses of THE INTELLECTUALS by submitting admission form along with required documents. The academic session begins in March/ April each year. Each academic year consists of two terms; annual exams are conducted in February/March.

Admission Procedure

• Application form together with prospectus are available at the school office.
• Report card from the school last attended may be attached with the form.
• Admission to different classes is granted on the availability of seats and clearing the test & interview.
• The child seeking admission in Pre-school, will be interviewed only.
• Selection of student is on merit; decision of the school administration is final and cannot be challenged.
• The documents to be attached with the Admission Form includes.
  
  a. Original School Leaving Certificate from the previous school.
  b. Two recent passport size photographs.
  c. Attested photocopy of birth certificate or Form 'B'.
  d. Copy of CNIC of the father/guardian of the child.

Note:

Make sure the information i.e. name & date of birth of your child, are correctly entered in the admission form.

ADMISSION TEST

The child is assessed in three subjects i.e. English, Mathematics and Urdu. Duration of each paper is approximately 30 minutes. The pass percentage is 50%. The child is assessed according to level of class he/she is coming from. The assessment is not based on any syllabus but general concepts of that specific level. When assessment papers are marked, parents will be informed within a week. Once all the paper work is completed, you will receive a hand book of rules & regulations, a school calendar for the year with all the major events & other pertinent information including names of the members of Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and their contact addresses and phone numbers. If this is your child's first year at the school, we encourage you to visit the school frequently before beginning of the school sessions to allow him/her to become more familiar with the new setting. On your child's first day of school, do not linger too long or react with alarm if she/he is hesitant about the separation. You are welcomed to attend all the social functions even if your child is not joining for another couple of years.

WITHDRAWAL

To withdraw a student from School, the parents/guardians must submit a written request to the Principal. All dues must be paid one week before the last school day. No school leaving certificate will be issued till then. If your child is being transferred to another school, we will release his/her school record only on approval of the parents / guardian.
